About Us

about usGlenfiddich Wool is a dream of two women born in two different states finally meeting and discovering they had settled within a forty mile radius of each other. Their proximity, their shared love of knitting, and 140 Glenfiddich sheep fueled their common vision. Wool had become the catalyst for their creative energies.

Kathleen England shares the sheep farm with her husband, Robby, in Roseville, Pennsylvania. Their home, a big farmhouse is always teeming with kids. It is on the farm that she has opened a yarn shop featuring her own wool. Inventory is a joint effort among the two.

Barbara Condon is a retired math teacher in Painted Post, New York, where she lives with her husband, Lou.

The two knitters jointly display their creative efforts in the form of hand spun yarns, hand dyed yarns and finished product. They also travel giving knitting, spinning and felting instruction. They have had the “featured artist” status twice in Johnstown, PA where a shop called The Blacksmith Exchange sells their yarns exclusively.

Recently the ladies of Glenfiddich Wool have been fortunate to have several of their designs featured in Fons and Porter's Love of Knitting magazine.
